Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are the house rules for the Lumigen studio, the app where your ideas become art. They form an agreement between you and Lumigen AI Art Generator ("Lumigen," "we," "us"). They're written in plain English because legalese kills the creative mood. Effective date: 2026-10-29.

Step Inside, and You're Agreeing

By downloading, opening, or using Lumigen, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

Your Studio Pass (The Licence)

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Lumigen on Apple devices you own or control. This licence is also subject to the Apple App Store's usage rules. It does not let you copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app itself.

Create Boldly, Not Badly: Acceptable Use

Experiment, explore visual concepts, and chase inspiration. Please don't use Lumigen to create or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, harasses or harms others, or deceives people. Don't try to hack, overload, scrape, or disrupt the app or our backend, and don't try to get around its features or limits. We may suspend or restrict access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Subscriptions and Purchases Through Apple

All purchases and subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase and billed to your Apple ID by the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and Apple charges the renewal to your Apple ID. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Who Owns What

The app belongs to Lumigen. That includes its design, code, branding, and everything else that makes up the studio, and it is protected by intellectual property laws. Your prompts and the images you generate belong to you, as far as the law allows. You are responsible for how you use them, including making sure your prompts and any use of your outputs do not infringe anyone else's rights. We process your prompts and outputs only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-generated images may sometimes look similar to other works or to images other users create, so we can't promise that every output will be unique.

No Guarantees on the Masterpiece

Lumigen is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI output can be surprising, imperfect, or simply not what you pictured, and we don't promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.

Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lumigen is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Fresh Coats of Paint: Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date. If you keep using Lumigen after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
